The key purpose of the role is to advise and support the Design Council (Sub-Board to the Operating Committee) and the wider business to maximise the returns on our investment across the Group\n\nWe will be successful in achieving our purpose through bringing transparency to our capital investment plans. The role holder will also have some specific balance sheet responsibilities which are related to capital management; including depreciation control, fixed asset accounting, stock accounting and SARBOX controls\n\nPrincipal Job Responsibilities\n\n* To increase the level of return that BT Group achieves from its capital programmes.
