Role Purpose
The role holder either leads a team of procurement professionals in a Procurement Management role and/or operates as a contributor/negotiator to ensure the provision of a world class procurement service that delivers competitive advantage to the BT Group globally.

Role Description:
The key purpose of the Acquisition Desk Based Account Manager role is the acquisition of net new targeted acquisition customers from Global Services and BT Business. Role Description:

Summary:
Lead and manage on behalf of BT Legal, BT's bids for the public funding of Next Generation Access (NGA) rollout in rural and remote areas, all in accordance with BT and industry best practice including responding to all bid documents, advising on the public tender process applying to such bids, engaging in the tender process (to include where applicable, competitive dialogue sessions) and marking up public sector contracts.
Provide secondary legal support to other members of BT Legal leading on NGA bids to ensure continuity of service, consistency in approach and promotion of best practice.
Lead and co-ordinate BT Legal advisers on NGA bids including on competition law/state aid, corporate, property and IP lawyers, product legal specialists and external legal advisers where retained.
Support and be part of the relevant NGA team and Openreach bid team counterparts, working with the relevant commercial team, finance, bid managers, with the NGA service and delivery specialists, treasury advisors and regulatory specialists to deliver the NGA bids.
Identify and mitigate commercial and/or legal risks arising from NGA bids and help ensure compliance with relevant governance for BT Group, Openreach and BT Wholesale.
Own and develop relationships with key internal clients and act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, irrespective of line of business or location.
Develop and enhance BT's best practice on NGA bids, incorporating lessons learned from public sector bids and NGA bids.

Key responsibilities
Responsibility for all legal aspects of an NGA bid. This will typically include strictly following the relevant public procurement process, within which there will be elements of reviewing bid documents, drafting, raising issues in dialogue and finalising contract documentation.
Being a key member of the NGA bid team, contributing to and presenting executive briefs, ensuring compliancve with the BT Group Trading Policy providing in life and/or ensuring appropriate transition and hand over to in life teams.

Skills/Experience:
* Advanced HTML and CSS knowledge is key (XHTML/HTML5/CSS3)
* JavaScript experience is essential with an ability to code solutions using jQuery as well as debug and amend existing files
* Possess a strong working application of W3C and WCAG 2.0 standards
* Strong skills in Photoshop and image manipulation
* Experience using a content management system is preferred – ideally using Interwoven TeamSite 6.7+
* Keen eye for detail and ability to work to stretching deadlines
* Thorough knowledge of SEO and an understanding of web analytics
* Ability to identify and resolve complex site errors, using problem solving methodologies, technical experience and appropriate tools.
* To have a reputation for delivering tasks right first time without the need for correction
* An understanding of back-end technology and its integration with front-end is beneficial
* Knowledge of BT Retail’s product portfolio is useful
