BT Sales Manager in Manchester, United Kingdom
The purpose of the Sales Manager is to align to Wholesale and Ventures Strategic Vision of delivering sustainable, profitable revenue growth, deliver brilliant customer experience by being easy to do business with and make it a great place to work for the people within the team.
This specific role is to manage two of the leading UK carriers in KCOM & SSE by building and developing relationships at Senior Executive level within each customer ensuring strong connections are established within each functional area to improve the Net Promoter Score and to maximise opportunities by consultatively uncovering new business opportunities through the bid process to contract signature as well as protecting existing revenues and margins. Building individual Account Development & Win Plans within the overall Strategy of the Major Accounts Sector is fundamental to this senior sales position so stake holders can be aligned.
As a member of the Leadership team of the Sector you would be expected to demonstrate thought leadership and sales excellence as well as supporting your peers.
Skills / Experience Required:
New business sales experience, demonstrating solution sales technique
Strong commercial acumen and ability to forecast accurately revenues, margin, order intake and product volumes
Leadership and virtual team management including strategic planning
Large complex bid leadership
Strong Negotiation skills
Knowledge – Complex Solution Sales leadership, ideally with knowledge of UK reseller marketplace (either through selling into or competing with)
Strong evidence of Good Contracting, stakeholder relationship development at executive level; influencing skills
