Location: New York City

Existing authorization to work in the United States is required. Relocation support for this position is not currently available.

The role holder is responsible for the development of sales of designated products in established accounts, market sector or product-line. He/she will provide regional support and work in partnership with global account team to define strategy and progress business relationships. He/she negotiates at a high level, but within well-defined limits of delegation.

What you’ll be doing

  • To define, develop and own key customer relationships and customer contact strategy.

  • To make a significant contribution to company's sales revenue.

  • To maintain and develop a pipeline to support the stated Global and local account targets.

  • To operate in line with BT processes and procedures and demonstrating a commitment to get the job done.

  • To manage Customer Satisfaction within the assigned account base.

  • To participate and contribute to periodic team calls when engaged with Global or regional clients with more than one touch point from BT.

  • To ensure interactions with customers and colleagues are respectful and courteous and represent BT in a professional way.

  • Likely to have responsibility for management of a direct or virtual team.

  • Evidence of teamwork and willingness to support others and BT.

  • May operate on a multi-country basis.

  • To follow the latest trends and developments in own field and adapt these to apply in the organization

We’ll also need to see this on your resume:

  • Relevant experience in the financial solution sales function.

  • Strong leadership skills in managing, motivating and coaching.

  • Strong presentation skills

  • 10 years of relevant job experience

  • Willingness to travel internationally

  • Sales / Client relationship management experience in the global banking industry

  • Significant experience within an international sales environment

  • Working knowledge of Global Service Integration, IP Networking, Network Security, Cloud Services, WAN Services, Contact Center / Customer Experience, and Voice / Unified Communications & Collaboration; etc.

  • Exceptional relationship management skills at the ‘C’ level

  • Evidence of driving up profit from customers and achieving targets

  • Excellent communications & negotiation skills

  • Understanding of P&L’s

  • Experience and proven track record closing opportunities

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
