Role Purpose
The role holder either leads a team of procurement professionals in a Procurement Management role and/or operates as a contributor/negotiator to ensure the provision of a world class procurement service that delivers competitive advantage to the BT Group globally.
Key Responsibilities

* Develop and maintain knowledge of specific category, region or function including market dynamics and product life cycles.

Role Description:
The key purpose of the Acquisition Desk Based Account Manager role is the acquisition of net new targeted acquisition customers from Global Services and BT Business. Summary:
Lead and manage on behalf of BT Legal, BT's bids for the public funding of Next Generation Access (NGA) rollout in rural and remote areas, all in accordance with BT and industry best practice including responding to all bid documents, advising on the public tender process applying to such bids, engaging in the tender process (to include where applicable, competitive dialogue sessions) and marking up public sector contracts.

Own and develop relationships with key internal clients and act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, irrespective of line of business or location.
Develop and enhance BT's best practice on NGA bids, incorporating lessons learned from public sector bids and NGA bids.

Key responsibilities
Responsibility for all legal aspects of an NGA bid. This will typically include strictly following the relevant public procurement process, within which there will be elements of reviewing bid documents, drafting, raising issues in dialogue and finalising contract documentation.
Being a key member of the NGA bid team, contributing to and presenting executive briefs, ensuring compliancve with the BT Group Trading Policy providing in life and/or ensuring appropriate transition and hand over to in life teams.

Business Unit Overview
Group Engineering Services (GES) are an Enterprise Business within BT Group Functions. Its core functions are to ensure that obligations relating to BT as a Communications Service Provider (CSP) are met and providing commercial innovative value add services to their Customers.

This involves working with Business Units (BU’s) and ‘horizontals’ (capital programmes which span multiple BU’s) to understand and manage their investments with the ultimate goal of increasing our commercial returns. Additional focus areas include investment authorisation, PIR and in-flight review processes, forecasting of capex budget requirements, capital reporting, capital governance and long term commercial benefits analysis. Principal Job Responsibilities

* To increase the level of return that BT Group achieves from its capital programmes. This will be achieved through: ensuring that the major capital programmes are aligned across the group, improving visibility of expected and achieved returns and operating a system that tracks longer term commercial benefits.

Description

The Information Assurance (IA) Senior Specialist role includes responsibility and taking the lead for all aspects of security involved in protecting BT and its customers from cyber attack and compromise of information assets. The role will provide BT senior managers and Board members with assurances and evidence that security risks have been identified and are being managed appropriately. The role will deliver information assurance by leading risk assessments and compliance reviews across BT, often with a focus on the use of third parties and third party access to BT and BT customer information. IA studies and investigations will be delivered through project management and line and matrix management of team members from across BT. Travel (national and potentially international) is required. The role will require that a UK Government security clearance is gained and maintained.

Description of the role:
The role holder will lead a number of online activities to support the development, optimisation and evolution of BT.com. This is a wholly technical role which focuses on the creation, management and improvement of webpages and site content.
As a manager in the Consumer Online Production team you'll be key in helping deliver BT's web presence and support online sales and self-service. The role holder must have a strong working application of web technologies and possess the specialised skills essential for an online production role.

Key tasks and responsibilities:
* Ability to deliver and lead the production, modification and maintenance of webpages/emails to meet current BT standards i.e. at least to W3C WAI WCAG 2.0 AA standards for multiple browser and device compliance
* Lead the delivery of compelling content/creative to launch new products and propositions
* Co-ordinate and oversee updates on existing webpages by setting/agreeing realistic timescales
* To be more skilled/productive than junior or less experienced grades, whilst aiming at being as skilled/productive as a Senior Marketing Manager performing similar roles
