Function
BT Professional Services is hiring Network Security Specialists to expand its delivery capabilities. As a member of this team, your job will be to design and implement various network security solutions and to integrate them into larger designs including LAN, WLAN, WAN, VoIP, etc. During these processes you will be working with different types and brands of equipment such as Check Point, Blue Coat, Juniper, Cisco, Fortinet, etc.
The Network Security Specialist is responsible for the deployment and configuration of security devices within customers? premises in the Benelux. In this job, you will work with various technologies and devices and you will be able to acquire a broader experience and knowledge of the different products and solutions.
The successful candidate is a team player with the capability of working cross-functionally with other teams.
Profile
? Bachelor or Master?s degree in Information Technology/Computer Science/Information Security or equivalent experience
? At least one entry-level network security product certification is required, higher levels or more products are a plus
? Theoretical knowledge and practical experience on network security solutions are a must.
? Knowledge of network technologies and engineering is a plus
? Willing to work with a flexible work schedule
? Ability to work effectively under tight circumstances
? Capable to work in team as well as independently
? Good knowledge of English is required
? At least 1 year of experience as a Network Security Engineer will be required
