Due to increased growth a new opportunity has come up at Openreach. We are looking to hire an experienced Project Manager with a background in Delivery / Operations.
This role is pivotal to the success in the deployment of Next Generation Access across the South Severnside area. The successful candidate will lead and develop a highly motivated team that ensures the NGA network is planned and executed to demanding timescales.
You will works across matrix teams of internal and external resource including important linkages to Local Authorities, Carillion Telent Managed Service, Network Investment Regional Operations and BT Regional Boards.
What you'll be doing
Leading and managing the Regional delivery team to deliver the plan to agreed cost, quality and timescale in accordance with the overall NGA deployment plan and budget.
Identifying any risks and issues and making amendments accordingly.
Carrying out post implementation reviews.
Relationship & Stakeholder Management.
Pipeline Jeopardy Management & LLUMS Accuracy
Commercial Management / Financial Tracking.
People Management / Performance and Development.
Safety and Compliance.

Relevant experience gained within a similar role in Telecoms / Utilities
Degree and / or post graduate qualification in a related subject such as Business, Management Studies, Economics.
High levels of commercial acumen as well as strong influencing, negotiating and communication skills.
Relationship management with senior internal and external managers – customers, suppliers and/or partners.
Recognised expert and track record of complex project delivery within or outside of BT.
Recognised expert and track record of complex project delivery within or outside of BT
Experience of major delivery related to the domain e.g. Networks.
Prince Practitioner, Membership of APM, IPM or similar organisation with strong project management credentials.
