The Global Account Director is responsible for managing and developing short and long-term sales opportunities with BT’s largest US headquartered multi-national enterprise targets.

What you’ll be doing

The selected candidate will market the full BT portfolio, which encompasses selling complex global solutions: Cloud and Contact Center services/ CRM / Customer Experience; Unified Communications/Collaboration/Conferencing services; network, managed and professional services; security and risk management; digital consumer services; and mobility services.

This is a senior business development position and will require the ability to methodically penetrate targeted Fortune 500 organizations with limited existing business with BT.

We’ll also need to see this on your resume:

  • Fundamental sales best practices associated with 8 years of experience solution selling within the Communications and/or IT Systems Integration industries to enterprise customers / large deals

  • Successful track record of sales wins, hitting quota and above, and current customer relationships with large enterprise corporations in multiple verticals and industries

  • Must have expert business development and hunting skills in order to penetrate large accounts and bring in new logo’s to BT

  • Highly motivated to sell and close large business opportunities

  • Current experience selling into multiple verticals/industries is required (Note: This role falls within BT’s Global Services division and NOT within BT’s Global Banking/Financial Markets division. This role requires experience selling into any and all verticals except for banking and financial markets).

  • Experience selling similar portfolios as BT’s Products and Services (i.e. global service Integration, IP Networking, Network Security, Cloud Services, WAN Services, Contact Center / Customer Experience, digital strategy and transformation; Voice / Unified Communications & Collaboration; etc.)

  • Emotional intelligence aptitude and exceptional relationship management skills at the ‘C’ level

  • Senior level account planning skills

  • Understanding of P&L’s

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
