What you'll be doing:

As Acceptance into service Specialist , you will be in charge of:

  • React to changing requirements within GCS and deliver outputs in timely manner.

  • Identify and understand emerging security technologies.

  • Contributes to IS027001 compliance and certification for Managed Security Service.

  • Responsible for successful delivery of overall security services and consultancy where appropriate.

  • Contributes to the identification and responsible for the collation and presentation of emerging security risks and threats to influence the direction of BT’s or the Customer's Security strategy and policies, particularly in the areas of personnel, physical, information, procedural and products.

  • To manage the delivery of the security infrastructure and services to provide: identity and trust solutions, managed security services and secure network infrastructure for BT and its customers.

  • Providing security advice and direction to LoB’s within BT and external customers.

  • Test customer firewall installations both in the implementation phase and as a support role during the life of the install.

Professional skills:

  • Holds appropriate level of Security Clearance.

  • Problem solving.

  • Analysis & interpretation of data into useful management information.

  • Typically qualified to degree level or equivalent professional experience and/or with recognised qualifications.

  • Gravitas and senior stakeholder management.

Language skills:

  • English on a fluent level

  • French on a conversational level is an advantage

  • German on a conversational level is an advantage

  • Italian on a conversational level is an advantage

  • Spanish on a conversational level is an advantage

  • Also, French or German or Italian or Spanish on a conversational level
