What you'll be doing:

As Senior Service Designer, you will be in charge of:

  • You will be accountable for the end-to-end service design and leading the Service Design workstream activity for various large, complex deals in pre-sales phase

  • You will prepare, deliver and manage input to service design solutions, based on type of work definitions; using the agreed Win New Business processes and documents to the required standards and timescales

  • You will contribute in providing a “Right First Time” quality service response to bids, supporting completion of risk registers, caveats and assumptions and costs with an auditable approval trail.

  • You will need to ensure that solutions are aligned with the overall deal strategy and with the business outcomes that BT & the Client are trying to achieve

  • You'll ensure that solutions are aligned with the relevant governance, compliance & assurance processes (with functional approvals where necessary)

  • You will make sure that the solution costs accurately reflect the approved solution design and that such costs have been optimized wherever possible using standard BT processes

  • You will ensure that delivery plans align with the solution design and that any key delivery risks are highlighted & understood

  • You'll have responsibility for all aspects of the end-to-end Service Design with a demonstrable level of expertise and capability

Soft skills:

  • Ability to meet the customers’ needs in line with the business requirements is a must

  • Ability to comprehend and to systematically organize the various aspects of a problem or situation is a must

  • Taking the responsibility and takes care of the consequences of making a decision is a must

  • Acting in advance of a future situation, e.g. making things happen, putting energy to solve the situation is a must

Professional skills:

  • Customer Facing experience is a must

  • 7 years experience in IT (Service Desk, Service Management, etc roles) is a must

  • experience in statistics is a must

  • ITIL is an advantage

Language skills:

  • English on a fluent level is a must

  • French language is an advantage
