Why this role matters

As a Digital Designer, you’ll be responsible for the creation and delivery of a range of cross-platform digital work. Predominantly covering web, mobile app and email, you may also be involved in the creation and delivery of video, animation or print. You’ll be working in a collaborative environment with other talented visual and UX designers, copywriters and developers.

The role offers the chance to own and drive improvements to the digital experience across a number of core products, propositions and also to directly influence the design of our rapidly evolving digital platforms and processes. The ideal candidate will have strong digital design experience working on a range of sites and apps.

Your remit will be everything digital across BT and EE Business sites.

What you'll be doing

  • Design and develop digital experiences across BT Business and EE Business customer facing sites

  • Create quality visual design, from early concepts through to detailed guidelines, prototypes and final hand-off to engineering

  • Liaise with developers to ensure design specifications are implemented accurately

  • Develop our internal digital style guide and library of design components

  • Evangelise best practices and standards

  • Conceptualise digital campaign creatives and deliver online artifacts

  • Stay on track with emerging digital trends and culture

  • Articulate and present creative ideas/treatments to teams and stakeholders

We'll also need to see these on your CV

  • An intimate understanding of digital design

  • A strong digital portfolio

  • Experience working in the digital sector, preferably with a creative agency

  • Ability to clearly and persuasively communicate design concepts and solutions

  • Experience in creating wireframes and storyboards

  • Experience in data driven and user centred design

  • A good understanding of accessibility and usability standards

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational skills

  • An ability to excel under pressure

  • Up-to-date kowledge with the latest digital trends, techniques and technologies

  • Expert skills with Adobe Creative suite and other related applications

  • A degree or post graduate in related fields
