Why this role matters

Our Digital Reporting and Analytics specialist will be responsible for making the W&V Digital team, and the wider business data obsessed. Our analytics needs to help inform us what our customers are, and more importantly, what they aren’t doing across our digital estate.

We’ve got a very broad digital estate, so you’ll have a lot to cover, with each website potentially using a different analytics tool (one of our in-flight plans is to bring all of this onto our AEM platform). We’ll need to understand some top line key metrics on a day by day basis such as number of visits to each site, but may also want to see some bespoke data sets on an ad hoc basis or when we want to set up a MVT test.

You’ll need to drive our technology team to help plug gaps where we might not have reporting data today, and work to understand what data we need to build up a view of the customer and their journey through out estate.

What you'll be doing

  • Creating Dashboards and Reports for core journeys and KPIs across our digital estate

  • Creating and Owning Analytics Requirements for new or transformed journeys, features or tests

  • Digital Analytics and Reporting across the Wholesale and Ventures

We'll also need to see these on your CV

  • Working within an analytical digital role

  • Communication skills - you’ll need to present your data findings back to stakeholders through both written and verbal comms

  • Critical Thinking - you’ll need to look at the numbers, trends, and data and come to new conclusions based on the findings.

  • Attention to Detail: Data is precise. You’ll have to make sure you’re vigilant in your analysis to come to correct conclusions.

  • Mathematical skills: You’ll need math skills to estimate numerical data.
