Security Sales Specialist

The role holder will help customers protect their network and “crown jewel” data from internal and external threat actors. The role holder is a proactive field Sales Specialist, who generates and closes new business across the BT Security portfolio. They work closely with the CFU teams to find and close new tactical opportunities with new or existing BT accounts. He/she is responsible for delivering against personal sales order value targets.
What you'll be doing
Sales of standard based security solutions
Accurate forecasting using Sales Force and BT Security Pipeline tools
Direct engagement with Decision Makers and influencers within new and existing BT customer base.
Being seen as an expert in the BT Security resell and Managed Service portfolio
Creation, management and accurate forecasting of a pipeline 3 x sales target.
Lead generations through personal engagement with wider teams
Minimum of 12 customer facing interactions per month (physical or virtual) to drive pipeline and sales target achievement
Be seen as an expert in the field of BT security resale and BT Security Managed Service
Knowledgeable on cyber security
We'll also need to see these on your CV
1 year experience in selling standard security resale and security managed service solutions from the desk and field.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets
Good Knowledge of the Cyber and Intelligence offerings from BT
Ability to sell at senior decision maker level, but not expected to be at C Level engagement.
Good knowledge of the UK and Global security market. Including knowledge ofkey security trends, customer requirements
A thorough understanding of the standard launched products within BT Security
