What you'll be doing

As our Social Content Manager you’ll be taking charge our BT Early Careers and EE Careers social media channels. That’ll look like this:

  • Working with our agencies to create engaging content that’s relevant to the audiences

  • Leading on the content strategy and drive our content and audiences in the right direction to, ultimately, deliver hires

  • Use insights and data to continuously improve the content and the performance of the channels

  • Ensure the channels are being used consistently and on brand at all times

  • Roving reporter – building and developing your network across BT and EE to find great stories to share with our followers

Community management of all channels

We'll also need to see these on your CV

  • Experience in delivering quality, differentiating content

  • A track record in building and growing engaged audiences on social media channels

  • Expertise in social and digital content marketing, ideally within a recruitment or employer brand capacity

  • Strong copy writing skills

  • Demonstrable experience in leading a successful social content strategy

  • Experience of building and delivering a consistent social media content calendar

In your first 12 months, you’ll:

  • Work with our Recruitment Marketing Manager to help deliver holistic graduate and apprenticeship campaigns

  • Reinvigorate our content plans and strategy across the key channels you own

  • Develop strong relationships with our key suppliers, driving our strategy, content and channels in the right direction

  • Working with the BT Careers Social Content Manager to ensure our employer brand is embedded into our content and consistent across all of our channels

  • Developing clearer measures to be able to demonstrate the success of our social channels and content

  • Develop cross channel content plans to help deliver the wider BT people strategy, change people’s perceptions and drive awareness and engagement

  • Create some great content!
